About Embrace Safety

Embrace Safety, founded in 2016 by Henrik Andershed in collaboration with Örebro University, develops EMBRACE — Sweden’s leading platform for data-driven crime prevention, used by hundreds of municipalities, housing companies, and public authorities, including Polismyndigheten, to turn fragmented data into coordinated action; grounded in academic criminology and supported by continuous Knowledge & Support (K&S), the platform enables organizations to work systematically, collaborate effectively, and deliver measurable improvements in public safety in line with legal requirements such as law (2023:196).
